Featured Recipe: Thrive Shepherd’s Skillet (THM S Meal)


A no-fuss, high-protein skillet meal that’s perfect for meal prep or busy weeknights. This one-pan wonder keeps carbs and fats separate—making it compliant with the Trim Healthy Mama S Meal guidelines.
Ingredients:
2 cups Frozen Cauliflower Rice
2 oz Cream Cheese
1 tbsp Butter
2 tbsp Heavy Cream
3 cups Thrive Freeze-Dried Ground Beef
1/2 cup Thrive Chopped Onions
1/2 cup Thrive Mushrooms
1 to 1.5 cups Thrive Shredded Cheese
1/3 cup Thrive Sweet Corn
1/3 cup Thrive Green Peas
1/3 cup Frozen Carrots
1/3 cup Prepared Espagnole Sauce
1/2 cup Beef Broth
1/2 to 1 tsp Thrive Chef’s Choice Seasoning Blend
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Cook cauliflower in microwave for 7 minutes, then blend with cream cheese, butter, and heavy cream to create a smooth mash. Season to taste.
Rehydrate ground beef, onions, and mushrooms using hot water and broth. Cover for 20 minutes.
Rehydrate cheddar cheese in cold water and refrigerate.
Rehydrate corn and peas in hot water; stir in frozen carrots.
In a skillet or casserole dish, layer the meat mixture and season with Chef’s Choice.
Add a layer of cauliflower mash.
Add the veggie mix, then top with cheese.
Bake for 45 minutes. Cool slightly.
Top with more cheese and prepared sauce. Microwave 2 minutes to melt.
